Our vision is to bring out the good in all we serve!

A value centered, fully inclusive, green ecosystem that works.

Clothes to Good (CTG) is a textile recycling and disability empowerment organisation. We find great joy in empowering people through what others categorise as “waste”

Over the last decade, Clothes to Good has synergised an ecosystem of like-minded organisations, led by individuals committed to meaningful, sustainable positive social impact in enterprise development, inclusion (especially people with disabilities) and caring for our environment.

Through the sourcing, sorting, up-cycling and selling of post-consumer resources such as used clothes, shoes & retail apparel, CTG programmes synergise high resourced schools, businesses, non-profit organisations, the public, people with disabilities and their families and people previously disadvantaged into a sustainable ecosystem.

CTG recycles hundreds of tons of post-consumer textile fashion waste annually in South Africa,

Together, the value-cycle includes people, passion, technology and post-consumer environmental change resulting in sustainable, high social impact.

Our Values

The Clothes to Good approach is best described in The New Capitalist Manifesto: Building a Disruptively Better Business (Umair Haque, 2011). “Where we are shifting from value chain to value conversation, when resources are utilized by renewing them instead of by exploiting them”. Clothes to Good has shifted from strategies to philosophies.

We enjoy creating conversations with all participants/stakeholders, moving from traditional value propositions to mutual value and collaboration - leveraging off each other’s assets to execute common, shared, goals.

We focus our energies on CONTRIBUTION, rather than competition and protecting our position. We continuously find new ways to complete our ecosystem in-stead of just dominating existing ones.

A value cycle of an ever-changing world requires an adaptive mindset with a strong foundation grounded by the Nine Universal Human Values.
